A dispute was opened against my sale

1. Open the sale and add your response: what was in the box, and photos if you have them. The buyer has already had to message you and state their side.
2. A person at PaperCrane reads both sides and decides, with a written reason. Most cases close within a couple of days.

Four outcomes are possible: a refund to the buyer, a replacement you agree to send, no fault found, or the buyer withdraws. If the outcome is a refund, the lot comes off sale, paused, and any payout already released for the order is recovered.

Filing a dispute does not touch your record. Only a case decided against you after review does — and buyers see dispute outcomes, not accusations.
